If you're after some fish-themed seasonal fun, then Fishdom - Frosty Splash is the app for you! This super cute game comprises of three parts, a virtual aquarium, puzzle and screensaver. You complete the puzzle in order to win 'money' to go shopping for fish, aquarium plants and accessories, and once you have your aquarium looking lovely, you can use it as your screensaver!
Fishdom - Frosty Splash's puzzle mode is a traditional matching type - you link symbols in order to clear rows. The faster you do it, the more money you win, and there are bonuses that will help you get the job done more quickly. The Fishdom - Frosty Splash puzzles may be traditional, but that doesn't mean they are simple - they get tougher as the game goes on, and by later stages I definitely needed the hints on offer!
The graphics in Fishdom - Frosty Splash are unashamedly cartoonish and very cute. Buying pretty fish and exotic plants soon becomes a fixation, and the increasing difficulty of the puzzles means that Fishdom - Frosty Splash has considerable replay value. Although the trial version supposedly lasts for 60 minutes, we found that you cannot open the game more than once, so be careful not to close it by accident.
