Football, Tactics & Glory is a casual Football management simulator. Focused more on arcade-style action over in-depth strategy, the game tasks players with piloting a custom team to success in various cups and leagues.
Within a genre traditionally consisting of spreadsheets and intense strategy, Football, Tactics & Glory takes its own path with a unique gameplay and management system. The obvious comparison to fan favourite Football Manager reveals a simulator with less depth but the same addictive "one more match" hook. Players take on the manager position for a football team and battle their way through various leagues and championships, developing their team with skills and training. All of the basic expected features, such as youth training camps and transfer options, are available but in a simple manner suitable for even the most inexperienced football manger. Matches play out in a turn-based system which places the focus on critical thinking over pure team building. Despite the positive direction Football, Tactics & Glory takes for the management simulator, those used to a more serious style of gameplay may become frustrated.
